With its Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Dominican binder, and a multinational proprietary longfiller blend (from the Caribbean and Central America) the Villiger 1888 exudes an earthy and hay-like aroma. It might start out with a tight draw but does loosen up about halfway in. The burn on the Villiger 1888 is almost flawless with a tight white ash and a sharp burn line.
