I’ll stop embarrassing myself now and never rap again.  But in all seriousness, how many of you remember this little ditty by Public Enemy? Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate, that’s who! Collaborating with Joya de Nicaragua, Drew Estate proudly presents the “MUWAT” cigar, which is short for My Uzi Weighs A Ton, from the Subculture Studio line.

My Uzi Weighs A Ton cigar is offered in 3 hefty sizes:  The 5 x 60 (Robusto), the 6 x 60 (Toro) and the 7 x 60 (Churchill).  This is JD’s personal blend and it offers a myriad of complex flavors.  Every one of our staff members that has tried it has described it a bit differently, but some of the flavors that were consistent included leather, pepper, earth, plenty of coffee and sweet cocoa to round out this medium to full-bodied cigar bursting with flavor.

Beneath the My Uzi Weighs a Ton cigar’s San Andreas sheen, oily and slightly veiny wrapper is a layer of a Nicaraguan and Brazilian Mata Fina Oscuro long-filler which is enveloped with a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro binder and topped off with a unique and eye-catching band.

So the story of how JD came up with this catchy brand name goes like this.  When Jonathan picked up his personal favorite My Uzi Weighs a Ton vitola, the 6 x 60 Toro, he jokingly named it his “Uzi.”  Later he picked up a wheel of them and exclaimed, “Damn! My Uzi weighs a TON!!”  Which is how they got their unforgettable name. Get ready for a treat when you pick up the My Uzi Weighs a Ton cigars.  The My Uzi is packed densely and has some significant weight and girth to it, is a slow and cool burning stogie and it packs quite a nicotine punch as well as big, satisfying flavor.
